One of my favorite sayings is “When life hands you lemons, make apple juice.  That’ll confuse everyone!” I think that’s what I hope this blog will be: confusing, weird, mis-informative, and with lots and lots of puppy pictures (or other baby animals).

Me, I’m a little weird. I don’t have any credentials or anything. Once on a date, I told the guy I was a little weird and he said, “Prove it!”  Not sure what he expected me to do. But I’m pretty sure I did manage to prove it because (Spoiler alert!) he did not call for a second date.

I have depression, which makes me love to laugh and make people laugh. I also have celiac disease, which means I can’t skype with you while you’re eating toast.

More than anything, I am a writer. I love writing fiction novels. My grandmother was Joan Lowery Nixon, who made a living writing, so it’s in my genes. Although she wrote mysteries and I’ve settled on sci-fi.  Two novellas published so far, a sci-fi series: “First Grave on Mars” and “Second Deception on Mars”. I also have various articles and short stories you can find links to in the “Other Writing” tab.
